Zac Efron started filming the second season of his Netflix documentary series, Down to Earth, across Australia, while taking part in a traditional welcoming ceremony in the country

Zac Efron will film the second season of his Down To Earth docuseries in Australia.

The 33-year-old man, who has been living a quiet life in Down Under for the past year, will join wellness expert Darin Olien, news.com.au reported on Tuesday.

The Netflix series will continue its search for healthy and sustainable ways of living, as well as embracing the local food, culture and customs of the country.

Last season, the actor visited Iceland, France and Costa Rica – but this season will undoubtedly be different due to the restrictions of COVID-19.

The movie star also shared photos of himself and Darin during a welcoming ceremony led by an Aboriginal elder on Instagram.

In one image, Zac and Darin had white paint on their faces and each wore a traditional red headband.

Zac wrote in the caption: ‘Here we go – Down to Earth second season!’

It comes after the Down To Earth team was seen filming at Fish Butchery in Paddington on Monday.

The actor arrived in Australia last year, escaping the pandemic in the United States.

However, he seems to have changed more permanently after meeting his girlfriend Vanessa Valladares at a cafe in Byron Bay.

Also participating in the series is Zac’s younger brother, Dylan, who will do the job behind the scenes.

He arrived in Australia in late February and completed 14 days of quarantine at a hotel in Sydney.
