‘I love it here’: Zac Efron raves about South Australia’s Kangaroo Island after filming his Netflix series Down To Earth in the region

Zac Efron has been traveling through his adopted home in Australia, filming for his Netflix documentary series, Down To Earth.

On Friday, a video of the 33-year-old raving about one of his most recent filming locations – Kangaroo Island, in southern Australia, appeared.

In a clip shared on Adelaide Now, he spoke fondly about the destination, saying it was a ‘beautiful island’.

“All of this is just incredible, it is a beautiful island, there is absolutely abundant nature, everywhere, it has really returned on a large scale since the fires that were quite devastating,” said Zac.

‘What a precious place, I love it here,’ added the happy High School musical actor.

The star was recently on Kangaroo Island and shared some social media posts from her time there.

He had swam with dolphins and said in the video of the experience: ‘I have never been so close to dolphins, that was mind-blowing.’

In addition to swimming with the dolphins, Zac approached with a lovely joey in his arms.

The sweet marsupial nibbled gently on the Hollywood actor’s nose, and he clearly had no problem holding it.

Zac is currently traveling through Australia with wellness expert Darin Olien for Netflix’s Down To Earth series.

The Netflix series will continue its search for healthy and sustainable ways of living, as well as embracing the local food, culture and customs of the country.

The Greatest Showman actor arrived in Australia in March last year, escaping the pandemic in the United States. He then traveled to South Australia to shoot an original Stan film called Gold.
