YouTube TV offering HBO Max, Showtime and Starz for $ 5 less in the new package

For YouTube TV customers who individually subscribe to HBO Max, Showtime and Starz, the company is launching a new entertainment package that will save $ 5.

The optional package is $ 30 per month. Individually, HBO Max costs $ 15 a month, Showtime costs $ 11 a month and Starz costs $ 9 a month, which means customers who subscribe to all three spend $ 35 a month through plans individual subscription plans. YouTube TV has been adding more and more premium channels in recent years, including a deal with WarnerMedia for HBO Max in February 2020.

While the package is an easy way to save $ 5 a month, YouTube has also become increasingly expensive in the past year. In June, YouTube TV raised its monthly price from $ 50 to $ 65. The move came after YouTube signed a distribution agreement with ViacomCBS to offer a set of channels: BET, CMT, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TV Land and VH1. Although YouTube TV is not the only virtual TV provider to increase monthly fees as more distribution agreements are closed. (AT&T TV Now, Fubo TV and Hulu with Live TV faced similar price increases.)

Still, for someone who depends on YouTube TV and wants to access three of the biggest premium cable networks, it’s good to save $ 5 a month. Now, if only YouTube TV could discover your regional sports network issues.
