Ella Travolta has some sweet words for her father in honor of her birthday.
On Friday, the 20-year-old daughter of John Travolta and the late actress Kelly Preston wished her father a happy birthday in a sweet tribute on social media.
“Happy birthday to the most amazing man I have ever met. You are not only the best dad ever, but you are also my best friend,” Ella began her moving note.
“Thank you for creating us, helping us and loving us and thank you for all the good you do every day. The world is so lucky to have you and so are we,” she continued. “I love you, Dad. I had a lot of fun celebrating your birthday with you yesterday. ❤️❤️❤️”
Along with the note, Ella shared a photo with her father and younger brother Benjamin, age 10.
The actor celebrated his 67th birthday on Thursday. He shared a video, which appeared to be from an airport, thanking his fans for their birthday wishes.

Before his birthday, Travolta and Ella appeared together in the Scotts Miracle-Gro ad in the Super Bowl, recreating their iconic handball game. Grease.
In the commercial, the father and daughter duo first appear with Travolta struggling to put his phone on a tripod to record a video while Ella gives him instructions. Once the phone is in place, the pair begin a perfect re-creation of the hand jive while Surface’s hit “Sunday Best” plays.

“Let’s hear from the parents who are still with her.” It was fun dancing in the backyard with @johntravolta, ”Ella shared on Instagram with a clip from the ad.
The announcement came just a few months after the pair had a poignant moment dancing together in honor of Preston, who died in July after a two-year private battle against breast cancer. She was 57 years old.
“My daughter @ ella.travolta and me dancing in memory of mom. One of Kelly’s favorite things, dancing with me,” Travolta shared alongside the video.

This was Travolta’s first birthday without his late wife.
He was married to Preston for 29 years and they had three children together: Ella, Benjamin and son Jett, who died at age 16 in January 2009.
