In case “not catching a deadly virus” is not enough reason to offer your arm for a few doses of the vaccine, Krispy Kreme wants to give you an extra incentive – in the form of free donuts all year round.
The company announced today that, from now until the end of 2021, you can get an original glazed donut for free when you show a valid vaccination card any day, anytime, anywhere. You can go once a week, once a day, or visit multiple locations on a given day, and they will simply continue to deliver them.
With this offer, Krispy Kreme is doubling the support of everyone involved in combating COVID-19. A company spokesman said the brand also distributed more than 30 million donuts to health professionals, first responders, teachers, trainers and trainees throughout the pandemic – with more on the way for health professionals and volunteers who are helping to manage the vaccine. And to encourage their own to get the vaccine, the company is offering up to four hours of paid time off for each employee to get vaccinated.
If you really want to make the trip to the Krispy Kreme place worthwhile, go any Monday from March 29th to May 24th and have a free medium coffee, too – no need to buy. (And if you’re still waiting for your vaccination appointment, you can get your own original free glazed donut on these Mondays as well.)
