Texan quarterback Deshaun Watson’s request for a replacement could lead him to land with another team this off-season and the consequences of that move will affect many other players.
If the Dolphins are the team to make a move for Watson, Tua Tagovailoa will be one of those players. The choice of the first round of 2020 would probably be part of a package going back to Houston or negotiated with another team if Miami gets Watson, which led to questions about the future during Tagovailoa’s visit on Monday to The Dan Patrick Show.
Tagovailoa said he had no control over the business when asked about his response to the conversation and Patrick asked if buying a Dolphins shirt with Tagovailoa’s name and number would be a good decision.
“Honestly, I’m not sure. Like I said, I can’t control things that I can’t control. What I can do is continue to work hard, ”said Tagovailoa.
Tagovailoa said his job to make sure his hips are as healthy as possible is a “continuous process” more than a year after the injury. In the coming weeks, we will know where this process will continue to take place.
