Your Phone from Microsoft has a feature to control your phone settings

Microsoft’s Your Phone app makes it easy to link your Android device to your PC. It’s great for replying to text messages, making and receiving calls, and more. And the experience will get even better, with the arrival of a new feature that will add device indicators to control your phone’s settings.

According to ALumia, Microsoft is preparing to release an update for the Your Phone app that will allow users to enable and disable features on their phones, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Do Not Disturb. Before, users could see if these features were active, but they could not interact with them.

“Here, this feature will be presented shortly by the Your Phone team, which in recent months has been working to present the new feature called ‘Indicator Management’” ALUMIA said. “How does it work? As soon as you receive this function, the Your Phone application will show you under the image of your smartphone four new buttons that will allow you to activate or deactivate the bluetooth, the ringtone / vibration, the audio player (for music) and the mode doesn’t just disturb with a click, without necessarily having to keep your smartphone close at hand. ”

The indicator function is expected to be implemented gradually for users, so stay tuned in the coming weeks. For those who see it (v1.21012.195.0 +), controlling the phone from the PC is about to get a lot easier.

Microsoft has brought many useful features to the Your Phone app in the past few months. The app introduced the ability to run multiple Android apps on selected devices in November. Before that, another feature was being tested and introduced an option “sent from the phone” to share links, images and notes.
