YoungBoy Never Broke Again is arrested for running away from the police

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is reportedly in FBI custody after being tracked down by the Los Angeles Police Department and the agency’s K-9 unit.

According to a TMZ report on Monday night (March 22), YoungBoy Never Broke Again, born Kentrell Gaulden, was taken into federal custody in Los Angeles after the LAPD along with the feds tried to stop a vehicle that the Baton Rouge, La rhymer was on trial due to a pending federal arrest warrant. However, the attempt to arrest the 21-year-old artist was in vain initially because a short chase ensued. As soon as the YoungBoy NBA car got in, the police said it got out and ran on foot.

According to law enforcement sources, officers set up a perimeter and used a K-9 dog to help locate the Top rimador, what they did successfully. Police also found a firearm in the car, but it is unclear whether it belongs to the NBA YoungBoy.

Although it is unclear what the YoungBoy federal warrant is for, the local New Orleans newspaper The lawyer reported last month that the rapper was being investigated by the feds for his arrest in his hometown last year on multiple drug charges. The arrest took place during the shooting of the NBA on an abandoned site in September 2020, which ended suddenly after the arrival of the police after a call for weapons displayed on the set of the video.

In addition to the NBA YoungBoy, another 15 were arrested at the time. These individuals, including the top rapper on the Billboard 200 charts, were described by law enforcement officers as members of the street gangs Never Broke Again and Bottom Boy Guerillas. While at the scene, the police allegedly searched the vehicles located near the video footage and found three grams of marijuana, a dose of Hydrocodone in a transparent bag, 14 firearms and digital scales.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again was assaulted on charges of possession of List 1 drugs, distribution / manufacture of List 2 medication and distribution / manufacture of List 4 medication. However, his bail documents stated that the only charge to be served it was possession of drugs in Table 1. There were no charges related to firearms listed at the time. He was subsequently released on $ 75,000 bond.

Last December, a judge ordered that the $ 47,000 in cash and several pieces of jewelry seized from the rapper by the Baton Rouge Police Department in the video recording be returned to him. Along with the money and the jewelry, the authorities reportedly took a $ 300,000 cashier check from NBA YoungBoy as well. The items were to be delivered to YoungBoy or his lawyers.

XXL contacted a YoungBoy Never Broke Again representative, his lawyer and the LAPD for comment on the matter.
