‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff ‘6666’ on works at Paramount Plus

Paramount + is saying “hello, partner” to another Yellowstone Series.

The streaming site (formerly known as CBS All Access) gave the spinoff the green light, provisionally titled 6666, Wednesday, our sister site term reports.

The branch will focus on a huge secular Texas ranch, known for its exemplary horses and cattle. Check out the official logline below:

Founded when the Comanches still ruled western Texas, no ranch in America is more steeped in western history than 6666. Still operating as it did two centuries ago and spanning an entire county, 6666 is where the rule of law and the the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing to do is the next … The 6666 is synonymous with ruthless effort to raise the best horses and cattle in the world and, finally, where world-class cowboys are born and are done.

YellowstoneTaylor Sheridan will serve as executive producer, along with John Linson, Art Linson, David Glasser, Ron Burkle and Bob Yari.

The most recently Yellowstone spinoff follows the previously announced Y: 1883, a prequel that will follow the Dutton family from the original show as she escapes poverty and walks to seek fortune in Montana. Y: 1883 was commissioned for a series in early February.

The streamer also announced several other projects on the way to Sheridan. They include Kingstown Mayor, starring Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye from the Marvel Cinematic Universe) and focuses on a family of powerful brokers in the incarceration business in Kingstown, Michigan; and Land Man, a Stair up stair downdrama style about the booming oil cities in western Texas.
