Yeezy is suing a former intern for violating a non-disclosure agreement, which included a ‘$ 500,000 severance clause.

Ryan Inwards, who was allegedly a summer intern for the Kanye West clothing line in 2020, reportedly ‘shared confidential photos of Yeezy on his Instagram’, according to a complaint filed at the Los Angeles County Superior Court obtained by PEOPLE at Friday.

By signing the company’s legally binding contract, often used to protect confidential business information, he agreed refrain from posting ‘unauthorized materials’ on your personal ‘social media sites’ during and after your months of employment.

Yeezy, however, claims that Inwards uploaded several classified images and ignored ‘several cease and desist letters’ to remove these items.

The complaint also noted that Inwards ‘shared non-public images on Instagram and did not remove them even after’ threatening legal action.

Since the news was released, The Hollywood Reporter pointed out that an ‘Instagram account with the same name now has no post’.

Now, the 43-year-old rap mogul’s business appears to be intent on trying to enforce a half-million-dollar damages clause for breach of contract and conversion.

In addition, they “are also seeking an injunction requiring him to deliver the images and be banned from similar posts in the future,” according to THR.

While it is unclear what Inwards specifically leaked, his internship coincided with many important announcements for the company, including news that they signed a ten-year collaboration agreement with Gap to bring the Yeezy label to the masses.

In July, Forbes magazine also estimated West’s tennis empire in a billion-dollar venture.

Revenue from the Yeezy sneaker line, now with Adidas, is expected to reach $ 1.5 billion in 2019, and West’s pre-tax income in the past 12 months has reached $ 150 million, according to Forbes.

West describes his line of feet as “the Lamborghini of the shoes,” a nod to the matte black Lamborghini SUV he owns.
