The New York Yankees had a successful spring, despite falling 2-1 to the Baltimore Orioles on Saturday night. His attack has been quiet in recent games, but his shot remains a strong point. Against Baltimore, Michael King lasted 4.0 entries, registering six eliminations and giving up on a race. He currently has an ERA of 3.46 this spring, but with most backups featuring against the Orioles, they only managed to record three strokes and one run.
With player cuts already underway, the Yankees opted to part ways with first baseman Mike Ford, which could indicate a discreet player being part of the squad and potentially having an impact in the 2021 season.

Lucas Luetge:
Lucas Luetge was phenomenal this spring, throwing 6.1 entries and winning 0.00 ERA with 13 eliminations and only allowed hits. At 34, Lucas hasn’t played in the MLB since 2015 with the Seattle Mariners. Having jumped around the minor league system, he is undergoing a rejuvenation, and the Yankees could benefit tremendously, especially with star substitute arm Zack Britton in the coming weeks.
Jay Bruce:
One of the reasons why the Yankees probably transferred Ford is the appearance of Jay Bruce. The ex-choice of the first round in 2005 is known for his hitting ability, having hit 11 out of 13 seasons in total. Last year with the Philadelphia Phillies, Bruce had six RHs and 14 RBIs in 32 games. Although 2020 was a bearish campaign, it hit double digits most recently in 2019, at 26.
