The Yankees are doing a pamphlet on Corey Kluber.
The two-time AL Cy Young winner has agreed to a $ 11 million deal that will take him to the Bronx, confirmed Joel Sherman of The Post on Friday, pending a physical examination.
Kluber held a showcase on Wednesday after two injury-filled seasons put him in doubt. The training, held in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, was led by the Yankees’ director of health and performance, Eric Cressey.
Sources told the Post that Kluber pitched 89-91 mph by launching 30 pitches in front of about 25 teams, including the Mets.
The 34-year-old righty has played eight games in the past two seasons, losing most of 2019 – his last season with the Indians – because of a fractured right arm and was eliminated by shoulder problems after an entry with Rangers.
Kluber worked with Cressey and Yankees pitcher Matt Blake in Cleveland. He will challenge for a spot in a rotation that features ace Garret Cole and several question marks.
