Twitch streamer xQc condemned another streamer for making him look like a “psychotic idiot” amid ridicule for accusing Rust’s opponents of “shooting in streams”.
XQc has been in the firing line since the OfflineTV Rust server took control of Twitch. Rust, a multiplayer survival game released in 2013, underwent a mini-revival at the turn of the year, with some of the biggest Twitch streamers joining the OfflineTV server to fight.
But bringing together so many personalities under one roof caused controversy, and the server has since been flooded with drama. At the center is Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel, who has been attacked for accusing opponents of ‘sniping’, with some fans flooding other channels to abuse streamers.
A new controversy has emerged, however. After xQc’s “Team Rocket” faction died in the middle of the sea after a failed landing on a ship, they returned and found that all of their inventory was missing. It turned out that EdisonParks had used external information to locate the drops, and xQc was not happy.

xQc accuses EdisonPark of ‘stream sniping’
The controversy started when xQc discovered Parks’s location in the Myth stream. He was out, where the xQc team had died, which would require outside information.
“This is a shame, man,” xQc said.
Edisonparks explained that he was disconnected from the server and watching Ash_on_lol’s stream, and saw two pieces of information about the xQc team freezing to death and a helicopter. With that information, he assumed that they had died in the middle of the ocean, and followed a train path until they found the bodies.
The oil rig is a long way from our base, so I thought it would be worth checking at least where the train was recently.
so i log in, get on a boat and follow the train path from our base and run to a body. some circles around and find some more (3/6)– Edison Park (@edisonparklive) January 2, 2021
Park apologized for abusing information to which he should not have access, and offered to return the items. He said: “I didn’t realize it at the time, but the reason Myth made a comment about their heli was because he watched a clip of them crashing with the helicopter.
“If it weren’t for that, I wouldn’t have known that a heli was involved. Looking back, because I acted on the basis of information to which I technically should not have had access, I think it is only fair that I return what I found in the bodies. “
However, xQc was not happy. He said: “I make mistakes and most of the time I admit my own faults, even if it hurts. Somehow, you do really horrible shit and play the denial card every time and make me look like a psychotic idiot. “

Shroud criticizes ‘squeezed’ xQc
xQc picked up a fair amount of kindling from other streamers in the past few days for accusing opponents of ‘stream sniping’. Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzesiek said xQc was playing a “dangerous game” on these charges.
“XQc must really keep these things to itself,” he said. “Calling people to shoot in streams is not cool, unless you know for sure that they are doing it. He’s playing a dangerous game. “
The Canadian was also forced to apologize after some of his fans sent death threats to other streamers when xQc complained about them in the air.
Sudário defended xQc as a “respectful” person, but condemned some of his antics during the broadcast.
“I played with him a few times, on and off the broadcast and he is always super respectful,” he said.
“But I would like him to be a little more respectful to others. I know it’s from the content, but sometimes it can be a little mean. He’s really excited when he’s live. “
With all the drama caused by PvP taking over the current server, OfflineTV announced that they will launch a new RPG-focused server with a smaller number of streamers allowed.
Whether xQc will be one of those streamers is on the air, but it seems unlikely. It won’t drop until January 7, so you can expect the antics on the current server to continue for a while yet.
