Xiaomi sells 350,000 Mi 11 units in 5 minutes

At the end of last month, Xiaomi withdrew the Mi 11, the world’s first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. Today the company had its first sale of the device in its domestic market, China, and it looks like it was a resounding success.

Xiaomi managed to sell more than 350,000 Mi 11 units in just five minutes. The total value of these exceeded CNY 1.5 billion. We are assuming that people in China have been convinced by the incredible specifications of the phone in relation to the price ratio and we expect Xiaomi to launch it in other countries soon.

The Mi 11 has a 6.81 inch 1440p 120 Hz AMOLED touch screen that has obtained an A + rating from DisplayMate, a triple rear camera configuration with a 108 MP main shooter, a 13 MP ultra-wide and a camera 5 MP macro, a 20 MP selfie shooter built into the screen’s drilling hole, 8/12 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of storage and a 4,600 mAh battery with 55W wired fast charging and wireless fast charging 50W. Mi 11 runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 on top.
