Xiaomi started sending out media invitations for the global launch of Mi 11. According to TechRadar, the flagship of the Snapdragon 888 will be announced in Europe on February 8 at 1 pm CET (7 am ET).

The date seems right because we also heard a rumor about it on the Xiaomiui Telegram channel yesterday. The company is also provocation something on your Twitter account, indicating that the official announcement of the date could come out very soon.

The Mi 11 was the first phone to be launched with Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor. However, its global launch comes after the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, which went on sale today.

Although Xiaomi has only announced a phone with the nickname Mi 11 so far, it is believed that we will also have the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Lite sometime this year. The first was even identified in the Xiaomi code for the MIUI 12 Gallery app.

Will Xiaomi launch the two extra models along with the regular Mi 11 on February 8? Well, that is anybody’s guess. The company is being quiet about this, but we won’t have to wait long to find out.

Until then, you can read everything about the Mi 11 here. The flagship phone will not have many competitors when it arrives in Europe. It will also give the region its first taste of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, as Samsung is only selling Exynos models of the Galaxy S21 series there.
