Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s newest fighters are Pyra and Mythra’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and you can play them in March. Nintendo announced them during its recent Direct presentation and promised to share additional details near the launch. The two follow recent additions to Sepiroth’s Final Fantasy VII and Min Min’s Arms.
Technically, Pyra and Mythra are the 79th fighters to join the SSBU list, as you can switch between them freely while playing. They will join Shulk’s Xenoblade Chronicles as the latest additions to the franchise. Nintendo plans to add at least two more DLC characters after that. As with previous new fighters, you will get Pyra and Mythra through the $ 30 Fighters Pass Vol.2 or separately for $ 6.
