More than two months have passed since the launch of the Xbox Series X | S and consoles are still extremely difficult to find. We recently saw substantial replenishment – the biggest since Black Friday – from several major retailers, and even the Microsoft store was offering it to order. However, for the most part, consoles have been replenished online relatively randomly, which means that you need to be aware and very quick to buy one before everyone runs out.
For those looking to buy the new Xbox Series X or the digital Xbox Series S, the Xbox refueling situation is not much clearer in 2021. Microsoft is working to get more inventory for the Xbox Series X | It’s on store shelves, but it’s not clear when the next generation Xbox will be significantly easier to buy. In a recent conference call, Microsoft said the scarcity of the Xbox Series X is expected to continue in the current financial period due to significant demand. We heard that this could extend into the summer. Supply partners are also struggling, which may explain why it is taking so long.
If Microsoft or other retailers announce the Xbox Series X or S refueling times in the coming weeks, we’ll include those details here. It may take a few weeks before you actually get the system after ordering, so keep this in mind when planning your downtime. We saw some stores offering expensive packages that are also available more often. Others are even offering occasional discounts on packages with extra controllers, but these are relatively rare. You are currently unable to find the console in retail stores without a withdrawal request.
While it is easier to buy the Xbox Series X above MSRP on retailer sites like eBay and StockX, we recommend that you wait to buy the new Xbox for a list price of $ 500. And unless you’re really desperate, avoid expensive packages that come with accessories and games that you don’t really need.

Xbox Series X availability on GameStop
GameStop replenished the Xbox Series X and Series S on January 27, but was available for purchase only as a package.
Xbox Series X availability at Best Buy
We don’t know when you’ll be able to buy an Xbox Series X from Best Buy again.
Best Buy did not have any Xbox Series X or Series S units in stores in 2020, but the retailer said the stock will be on store shelves this year. We do not know an exact date for when in-store inventory will be available, however. We saw next-generation consoles appearing on the Best Buy website without much notice. The Xbox Series S was available on December 28th. It tends to outlast the Series X whenever it is refueled.
Availability of Xbox Series X at Walmart
Walmart last had the Xbox Series X on January 21, although it had an Xbox All Access list available on January 24. Walmart made an appointment on January 21, as usual, but this time the retailer staggered sales in a wider window, which seemed to make the site run more smoothly. The Xbox Series S had a refueling already in the new year, so it could be easier to find.

We don’t know when you’ll be able to buy an Xbox Series X from Amazon again.
Amazon had very little stock of the Xbox Series X | S since the launch of the consoles on November 10, and there is no news of refueling in the near future. Amazon’s listings even say, “We don’t know when or if this item will be back in stock.”
Xbox Series X target availability
Target had the Xbox Series X last available for purchase on January 24. This time, it was available for shipping instead of just being picked up at the store, and the system did not appear to have been immediately stolen by bots.
Xbox Series X availability at other retailers
The Antonline online store tends to have Xbox packages in stock quite regularly, especially the Xbox Series S.
We saw sporadic refills at the Microsoft Store, but they are never announced in advance. The last refueling of the Xbox from the Microsoft store itself was on January 25 overnight.
If you lose inventory from major retailers, dealer websites like StockX have many units available, although you are prepared to pay more than the list price. Buyers are currently asking for around $ 420 for the S Series and $ 700 for the X Series. If you buy from a retailer, make sure that the Xbox console you are buying has the right type of plug for your region.

The great advantage of Xbox Series X accessories is that the vast majority of Xbox One compatible products also work with the Series X and S, including headsets and controllers.
New Xbox Wireless controllers launched alongside the Xbox Series X and Series S, and are available in Carbon Black, Robot White and Shock Blue. The updated controllers also have a new integrated Share button to capture and record game moments.

Microsoft is promoting its Xbox Game Pass subscription to the next generation, which grants access to a huge rotating game library for a monthly fee, including the ability to play original games like Halo Infinite on the first day. New subscribers can sign up for the first month of Game Pass Ultimate for $ 1 – do so before taking advantage of Game Pass online offers. You will also have an extra Game Pass Ultimate month for free if you activate recurring billing (it must be disabled before you can redeem a code to get the notice).
