If you’re like millions of other Xbox gamers, you’re anxiously trying to get your hands on one Xbox Series X (or perhaps even an Xbox Series S) since the console’s November 10 launch. Demand grossly exceeded supply, however, and sold out in minutes at all major retailers. There have been some additional drops in inventory in the weeks since, but in all cases, few customers have managed to steal a unit. This is partly due to resellers and bots routinely outperform average consumers in the punch.

Currently, there is no stock available, despite some stock drops at stores like Walmart and Best Buy in recent weeks. Meanwhile, Twitter remains a resource for many players to check the news of the refueling, but it is difficult to say how reliable the tweets really are. Recently, for example, the non-affiliated Twitter account @YtNextGenGaming posted that new inventory would be dropping at retailers like Best Buy, Costco, Target, Newegg and Walmart. We will follow up if or when we have additional information about these or other refills.

We are keeping an eye on Twitter and other news sources, and we will keep you updated on what retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop and Target are planning. Still, it is better to keep our expectations in check: Microsoft confirmed in November that Xbox inventory could be tight until April 2021.
The following is a list of the main retailers that sell the Xbox Series X. Our advice is to find out the $ 500 retail price and avoid those expensive retail packages (which include strange controllers, accessories and games). Better yet: if you don’t have a 4K TV and don’t expect to have one so soon, try the Xbox Series S instead of saving $ 100.
Xbox Series X: Check stock replenishment
Best Buy was the last reseller in the pre-order days of September, but is now ready for your Xbox Series X purchase as inventory permits.
Amazon is selling the Xbox Series X and the cheapest S Series on this same product page.
GameStop had praised “very limited number of Xbox Series X and S console packages for purchase”, but these are sold out.
Walmart does a solid job of looking at the availability windows for PS5 and Xbox on its Twitter feed. You can also visit the retailer’s Xbox home page for the two new consoles.
If you want to get the latest news on the Xbox Series X, there’s probably no better place than Microsoft’s own Xbox Series X homepage. Here you will find the latest specs, announced game titles, details about the new controller and more.
This is the Target product page for the Xbox Series X.
This is where you can buy the Xbox Series X at Newegg when the retailer has stock.
Are you already getting desperate? Are you willing to pay a premium of hundreds of dollars on the list price? Listen, we wouldn’t do that and we don’t recommend that you do either. But if you want to go that route, StockX is a respectable eBay-style site that allows you to buy and sell new Xbox and PS5 models – as long as you’re willing to pay more than $ 650.
