Xbox Series S in stock at an unlikely retailer

We put a lot of focus on the PS5 and where players can find one, but the Xbox also deserves a little love.

The Xbox Series X | S has the potential to be a dormant console in this generation, with many excellent games in development now.

But, if you are still looking for a new Xbox, then we have everything you need.

An unlikely retailer has inventory

While many of us tend to look to GAME, Amazon, Argos, Smyths etc for the latest stock, there are some companies out there that actually sell consoles and other hardware that most people don’t pay attention to, including BT.

BT sells game consoles, as well as games and PC hardware, but most people don’t know that.

Looking at the BT store, at the time of this writing, there were more than 50 Xbox Series S consoles in stock.

The console is sold by the standard of £ 249.99 and comes with the new controller in the series, which is an enhanced version of the previous Xbox One controller.

One thing to note is that the Xbox Series S is weaker than its X Series counterpart, targeting 1080p and 1440p instead of 4K and is also only digital, but it is still an impressive console for the price.

With the Xbox Game Pass, there are many games to choose from, in fact more than 400, plus you can purchase games from the Xbox Store.

The S-Series has only 512 GB of storage, so getting a storage expansion is crucial for the console.

As a single console, we would probably suggest waiting for the X Series to return to stock, but this would be a great choice to sit next to a PlayStation 5 on anyone’s TV unit.

Other retailers

We recently saw GAME, Argos and Amazon take stock of the latest generation systems, but they all sold out quickly, meaning buyers need to be quick if they have any chance of purchasing a new console.

The best advice is to enable inventory alerts for each website that offers them.
