We are aware that users may not be able to sign in to Xbox Live at this time. Our teams are investigating to correct this problem. We’ll update here and at https://t.co/PzAdjUFMJj when we have more information to share!

The official Xbox support team says they are working to fix these issues, but until services like Xbox Live, multiplayer and xCloud are all currently disabled.
It is unclear what the cause of the interruption is, but it is serious enough to stop all major Xbox services. IGN will update this story as it unfolds, but for now, anyone who wants to play multiplayer or cloud games on the Xbox will have to wait.
