Xbox games with gold in February 2021: Gears 5, Resident Evil and more

Xbox Live Gold subscribers win five games, instead of the usual four, in February, not coincidentally in the same month that the price of an Xbox Live Gold subscription rises by a dollar.

Gears 5, a staple of the Xbox Game Pass since the day it was released in September 2019, is the extra game. It is available from 1 to 28 February, both in the Xbox One version and in the enhanced version for Xbox Series X, released with the new console in November.

The others: the resident Evil remake is also available throughout the month. This is a timely choice, given yesterday’s news about Resident Evil Village and its release date on May 7, 2021. This is the remastered version of the 2002 console game, released on Xbox One in 2015.

Indiana Jones and the emperor’s tomb, the 2003 action adventure for Xbox, is also available from February 1st to 15th and is compatible with previous versions of Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It is a timely selection in light of the Microsoft-owned Bethesda Softworks announcement. , that MachineGames is working on a new Indy adventure for the reconstituted record label Lucasfilm Games.

In the second half of the month, Dandara, 2018, Metroidvania 2D from the Brazilian studio Long Hat House, is free from February 16th to March 15th. AND Lost Planet 2Capcom’s third-person sci-fi shooting game for Xbox 360 2010 is available from February 16th to 28th.

Capcom also has the Dead Rising remastering available until February 15 (part of the Games With Gold program in January). Bandai Namco is the publisher behind the other two games available until the end of January: Demolish, the 2004 Xbox action adventure and Little nightmares, the platform puzzle of 2017.
