WWE star Brian James – also known as Road Dogg – is bedridden in a hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack … according to his wife, who is asking for thoughts and prayers.
Tracy James broke the scary news on Saturday, saying that RD was doing a series of tests at the hospital to confirm what exactly had happened to him … this after returning home from work on Thursday night and feeling terrible about the that she said was likely to be a heart attack.

She writes: “He did a test and we are waiting for the results. He also consulted a kidney specialist and will do a stress test. He always took medicines from bp to high bp. Please pray the whole test come back to get something that we can fix it. “
Tracy goes on to say that she is a wreck, but trying to stay positive … leaving it in God’s hands to take her husband home safely. It also sent a somewhat reassuring update.

It looks like Road Dogg’s kidneys are healed and a cardiac catheterization is scheduled for Monday to decide the next steps.
Road Dogg is perhaps most famous as part of the collective D-Generation X tag team of WWF’s Attitude Era, which was also made up of guys like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Rude rick, Chyna and others … including RD’s partner in crime in the ring, Billy Gunn, which helped form half of the New Age Outlaws with Road Dogg.
Road Dogg fought professionally in the WWF / WWE until the early 2000s, when he left and competed in other leagues until about 2011 … he never officially returned to WWE … until he re-signed as a producer and a writer for them, of course.
He is reported to be behind the scenes at several ‘WrestleMania’ events and as a principal writer on other WWE programs, including ‘SmackDown’ and others. And yes, Road Dogg is a member of the Hall of Fame too … having been introduced as part of the 2019 class.
Road Dogg is only 51, by the way – I expect a quick recovery 👏🏽
