Monday’s Raw, with no football competition, was up 2% from last week, with 1.85 million viewers. This is yet another indication of how well last week’s episode went with Triple H’s return and curiosity about Drew McIntyre addressing his positive COVID-19 test that was announced on show day.

The figure is probably at the bottom end of what Raw should be doing after football, which would be around 1.9 million viewers for an average episode. Monday’s program got a rating of 0.60 on demo 18-49. This represents a 9% increase from last week, but 18-34 a 11% decrease from last week.

Raw was third on the night in 18-49, losing two NBA games on TNT. In total viewers, Raw was 34th, but all programs that won Raw were NBA or news.

Straight Up Steve Austin, which aired on the USA Network after Raw, had an average of 672,000 viewers and obtained a rating of 0.19 at 18-49, placing him in 40th place in the cable TV ranking, but even outside prime time, it was 11th without including news programs.

Raw was the fourth in women aged 18 to 49, the third in men aged 18 to 49, the third in women aged 18 to 34, the fourth in women aged 12 to 34, and the fourth in men aged 12 to 34 years.

The first two hours were strong and the third fell slightly above normal. The NBA game against the first two hours drew 2.11 million viewers and a rating of 0.87 in 18-49, and the game against three hours drew 2.32 million viewers and a rating of 0.91 in the demo.

Compared to a year ago, Raw fell 22% overall, 28% 18-49 and 46% 18-34.

The falls from the first to the third hour were 19 percent for women aged 18 to 49, ten percent for men aged 18 to 49, five percent for teenage girls, a seven percent gain for teenage boys and a 14 percent drop for over 50 years.

The three hours were:

  • 8pm 1.99 million viewers
  • 21h 1.88 million viewers
  • 22h 1.70 million viewers
