For most Americans, Super Bowl Sunday is not just fun because of the game, but also because of hilarious commercials – and this year was no different.
At each break, viewers reviewed the ads, sharing their honest, unfiltered opinions on Twitter. With tons of commercials to peruse, social media users were most impressed by Even’s announcement. The job site featured an inspiring commercial during the show, which featured a cover of Andra Day’s hit “Rise Up” by TikTok star Christian Shelton. The clip highlighted how difficult last year was for Americans to remain employed in the midst of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The company also shared job opportunities in support of the Twitter ad. “Really commercial, I loved it. It was real and, most importantly, identifiable, ”wrote a Twitter user.

In addition to being moved, viewers found humor in the Uber Eats “Wayne’s World” commercial with Cardi B. “Wayne’s World with Cardi B commercial was very cute,” said one viewer.
However, not all commercials were met with positive reviews. Continue reading below to find out which commercials Twitter users rated as “worst”.
Oatly
Oat milk brand, Oatly, launched an ad featuring company CEO Toni Petersson singing alone in an area about milk. Viewers expressed confusion about the commercial, with some saying they “will never” buy the brand’s milk.
This commercial was so bad that I will never buy oat milk.

That oat milk commercial is the worst super bowl commercial I’ve ever seen
– Thomas Northcutt (@RealTCutt) February 8, 2021
I think the worst commercial for the Super Bowl would be an oat milk commercial.

Did that oatmeal guy really think he was a good singer?

Cheetos
Celebrity couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher teamed up for an ad for Cheetos, which follows Kutcher as he tries to find out who’s still eating cheese snacks. When he picks up Kunis with his hand in a purse, she denies it after singer Shaggy tells her to quote his famous song “It Wasn’t Me”. From that point, Kutcher sings the lyrics while meeting Kunis repeatedly in the act. Of course, she says, “I didn’t do it” every time. Although the commercial proved to be cute for some, others failed to overcome Kutcher’s “singing”.
The worst thing about this Super Bowl is the Mika Kunis and Ashton Kutcher commercial

Doritos
Doritos called Matthew McConaughey to promote his 3D chips. In the ad, McConaughey feels embarrassed – literally – like a 2D person who lives in a 3D world. However, things change for the actor after he comes across a vending machine with Doritos 3D Crunch. McConaughey manages to crawl into the vending machine and after trying the snack, he returned to his original self. According to Twitter, the McConaughey flat is “scary”.
Seriously, I can’t remember the last time the Super Bowl commercials were good. Whoever was responsible for that scary Matthew McConaughey Doritos commercial should be out of work tomorrow. 😬😖

Hellmann’s
For the ad, comedian Amy Schumer stars as Hellman’s Fairy Godmayo. She demonstrates how to use mayonnaise to bring dishes to life. Although viewers were not too upset by the ad, they found it was “meh”.
An entire commercial based on a pun to call Amy Schumer “Fairy God Mayo” is quite representative of the quality of the Super Bowl ad we’ve been getting so far.

Amy Schumer doing a mayonnaise commercial. How will I mentally recover from this.
