Blizzard Entertainment is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2021, and a component of that celebration is a series of in-game goodies for the developer’s gaming stable: World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Diablo 3, Heroes of the Storm, StarCraft two, and StarCraft: Remastered.
These digital products – which include a Reinhardt cover for Overwatch which evokes StarCraft’s beloved land marine, Jim Raynor – would normally be an incentive for a BlizzCon ticket. But with Blizzard’s annual fan convention going completely virtual this year, with BlizzConline, these items will be sold directly through the company’s digital store. Starting today, Blizzard fans can purchase three Celebration Collection packages, each with their own list of goodies.
Although Celebration Collection packages are on sale from Monday (until September 15), some items will not arrive in the game until the end of this month. Here is an analysis of the three packages.
The Essential Package ($ 19.99) includes:
- Netherwhelp pet touched by the moon to World of Warcraft
- The Tracer OSV-03 Rogue mount with the Tracer Hero in Heroes of the Storm
- 30th anniversary Overwatch player icon and spray (coming soon) 5 more Loot Boxes
- A set of Construction on Star 2 and StarCraft: Remastered portraits that celebrate three decades of Blizzard (coming soon)
- 10 Madness at the Darkmoon Faire letter packs for Hearthstone
- A pet and a portrait for Diablo 3 (coming soon)
The Heroic Pack ($ 39.99) contains everything in the Essential Pack, plus:
- Snowstorm montage for World of Warcraft
- Raynhardt (legendary) on Overwatch (coming soon)
- Random Madness at the Darkmoon Faire Legendary card in Hearthstone
- Diablo 3 wings (coming soon)
The Epic Pack ($ 59.99) includes everything in the Heroic Pack, plus:
- 30 days of World of Warcraft game time
- 5 gold Madness at the Darkmoon Faire letter packs in Hearthstone
- 3 Golden Loot Boxes for Overwatch
- Diablo 3 Helm Transmog items (coming soon)
Each package also contains a 15% discount coupon on a purchase at the Blizzard Gear Store. Blizzard says that Overwatch StarCraft skin, portrait, spray and portraits will arrive by February 18, while Diablo 3 in-game items will arrive on February 28. BlizzConline will take place from the 19th to the 20th of February. The company’s 30th anniversary will take place on February 8.
