‘Wonder Woman’ star Lynda Carter talks about her husband Robert A. Altman’s death: ‘He’s the love of my life’

Lynda Carter broke the silence with the death of Robert A. Altman, her husband for 37 years.

The game’s CEO passed away last week at the age of 73.

The “Wonder Woman” star took to Instagram on Wednesday, where she mourned the loss of her husband.

“A week ago, my beloved husband Robert A. Altman passed away,” said the 69-year-old with the caption of a black and white photo of the couple.

“Robert is the love of my life and always will be,” the actress shared. “Our 37 years of marriage were an extraordinary gift. We share the passion that I hope everyone will be lucky enough to experience in their lives. We protect each other and have always been the champions of each other.”

“We have always been grateful for the two beautiful lives we created together: our children, Jessica and James,” continued Carter. “They are the lights of my life and they were Robert’s greatest joy. I see a lot of Robert in them and I know that he lives through them.

“To all the fans who shared their condolences: Jessica, James and I want to say thank you. We especially love hearing about the times you met Robert at shows or through his work in the gaming world. He loved meeting and listening to you. Your stories. “

Carter also wrote a moving message to Altman.

On January 29, the couple celebrated their anniversary. At the time, Carter uploaded a photo of the two sharing a sweet hug.

“Remembering all those moments at the airport, when we were living thousands of miles away, traveling across the country to be together for so many years,” said Carter. “After 37 years, I am still grateful to wake up next to you every day. Happy birthday, my love.”

Altman’s death was confirmed by Bethesda.

“We are deeply saddened to tell you about the death of Robert A. Altman, our founder and CEO,” said the statement. “He was a true visionary, friend and believer in the spirit of people and in the power of what they could accomplish together. He was an extraordinary leader and an even better human being.”

The cause of death has not been revealed.

The couple originally married in 1984.
