WONDER WOMAN 1984 wins the same CinemaScore as JUSTICE LEAGUE and HARLEY QUINN: BIRDS OF PREY

The first reactions to Wonder Woman 1984 were extremely positive, while comments were mostly enthusiastic when the embargo was lifted (you can find our verdict by clicking here). However, something has changed since then, as the second wave of assessments was a little more negative; as a result, the DC streak is no longer “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, regular moviegoers are beginning to share their thoughts, and many of those who watched in theaters contributed to Wonder Woman 1984CinemaScore of.

This process involves those who have just watched a movie, being asked about their score – from A to F – when leaving the exhibition. CinemaScore then averages to create a rating and, in the case of Patty Jenkins’ film, is a B +. As a result, Wonder Woman 1984 is now on the same level Suicide squad, Justice League, and this year Harley Quinn: birds of prey.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was rated B, while Steel man and Aquaman received an A-. Shazam! and 2017 Wonder Woman are the only DCEU films with an A.

In another Wonder Woman 1984 news, artist Jen Bartel shared some incredible images for the sequel that would have been featured on Alamo Drafthouse beer glasses had the cinemas not closed:

5 ways Wonder Woman 1984 set up a sequence!

5. Diana Prince embraces being a hero

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice established that Diana Prince has been off the radar since leaving Themyscira during World War I, but Wonder Woman 1984 definitely helps to reconfigure that. Although Amazon Warrior is clearly not known to the public, she is a superhero who is not shy about saving the day (even if it means destroying security cameras).

By the time the sequence ends, it seems that Diana has really accepted her place as a hero to the world (hearing her voice is what drives her to portray her desires). As we move into today – a logical next step for the franchise – it is mandatory to see Wonder Woman come out of the shadows.

The basis for this is definitely established in this sequence, and now that Diana has helped save the world publicly on two separate occasions, we should be able to see how it affects the hero. To begin with, we would love to know what the government thinks of her, not to mention those she has come across over the decades. Cheetah doesn’t die, so maybe an older Barbara could even return?

4. A new love interest

After spending decades mourning the loss of Steve Trevor, Wonder Woman is finally reunited with her lost love in the sequel. They only spend a few days together, but after saying goodbye for the second time, it seems that Diana Prince may finally be able to move on … at least to some extent, anyway.

This may mean that it is time for a new love interest, and there are some interesting possibilities.

Henry Cavill’s Superman would be an interesting, if controversial, option, although Trevor Barnes can also be a good direction to take things to the hero. Kaisa and Mala (two warriors from Themyscira) would undoubtedly offer more daring and interesting directions to welcome Diana’s love, and a lesbian relationship could help pave the way in many ways unprecedented here.

3. The invisible jet

This comes out of nowhere in Wonder Woman 1984, but it turns out that Diana Prince somehow found a way to use the Lasso of Truth to make things invisible. Although she only tried it on a coffee mug before, she manages to completely transform her and Steve Trevor’s jet into this sequence.

Although camouflage technology exists today, it would be really cool to know that Wonder Woman paid tribute to Steve by learning to fly a jet and that he is invisible on a whim.

Of course, with Wonder Woman 1984 strongly implying that Diana can fly now, we’re not sure how necessary that would be. One way to make this work would be to make the hero become a secret agent – in white clothes and all – with some type of aircraft serving as a mobile base for the Amazon warrior.

2. Steve Trevor returns … again?

Will the third time be the charm for Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor? We would like to see Diana finally move on, but it is possible that Chris Pine’s character will be permanently resurrected.

Inside Wonder Woman 1984, he mentions having vague memories of going somewhere when he died, so what would happen if the hero could visit a version of Heaven or Hell in Wonder Woman 3? Earlier this year, in Wonder Woman # 757The Phantom Stranger actually took one of her friends to heaven to face the trial, a move that prompted Diana to come to heaven’s own gates to retrieve them.

In a similar adventure (perhaps linked to his father, Zeus), why can’t Wonder Woman come face to face with Steve again, this time taking him back to Earth and making him part of the current DCEU? It would certainly help to ensure that Diana had a happy ending at the conclusion of this trilogy.

1. A team with Asteria

By far the biggest Wonder Woman 3 tease comes in a half credits scene. At the beginning of the film, Diana told Steve that her Golden Eagle armor was first worn by a warrior named Asteria, and only she was left behind, holding the waves of attack from men so that her sisters in arms could escape to safety. from their new home, Themyscira (the games at the beginning of the sequence are held in their honor).

Wonder Woman was unable to find out what happened to her fellow Amazon, but this teaser reveals that she is alive and protecting people in secret much like what Diana has done for decades.

There seems to be a story to tell here, and that meeting can lead to many exciting new stories. It would be kind of crazy if this TV show was somehow canonized, but whatever the case, we want to see more of Lynda Carter at the DCEU, and Wonder Woman 3 it can be a good start.
