Tonight’s St. Patrick’s Day Slam Edition (March 17th) Dynamite presented the first female match of the main event. Thunder Rosa fought against Britt Baker in an Unsanctioned Lights Out fight. This is a very suitable condition for the best female rivalry in the history of AEW.
This was a violent struggle from the beginning. Baker got a head start thanks to the interference from his assistant, Rebel. A few minutes later, Baker stepped down Rosa directly on the steps of the steel ring, leaving Rosa’s head wide open.
The violence only increased after a ladder was introduced. There was a guy who destroyed the stairs, as well as a dropkick, and blood was dripping from Baker’s skull.
A few minutes later, Baker brought the thumbtacks. And then she was bombed for those same tacks.
Baker somehow kicked and managed to apply his Lockjaw finisher while placing himself on the pile of thumbtacks. Rosa used the thumbtacks to escape Baker’s submission.
It turns out that there was an undamaged table in position outside the ring. With her body pierced with thumbtacks, Rosa finally ended up with Baker wearing an Emerald Flowsion from her apron and across the table.
Holy shit, what a violent and bloody war. This was an unforgettable match.
