In a sad and disturbing addendum to a fake press release sent earlier this week, falsely announcing the launch of Pete Davidson’s production company, as well as his wedding, TMZ reports that the police arrested a woman who entered a home owned by Staten Island at Saturday Night Live On thursday. Michelle Mootreddy, a police officer told TMZ, entered Davidson’s house through an open side door and sat at the kitchen table. Although the actor himself was not at home, one of his relatives was, and he subsequently called 911.
Mootreddy is reportedly the same person who sent the fake press release on Tuesday to various media outlets, claiming that she and Davidson are launching a production company called Bodega Cat Presents, in addition to being spouses. “The press release that is circulating this morning about Pete Davidson is completely untrue,” Davidson’s lawyer told Complex in a statement later in the day. “Not a word of this is true. Mr. Davidson has no idea who that person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies. “
