Woman shoots Burger King employees while waiting at drive-thru, police say – FOX13 News Memphis

Memphis, Tennessee. – A drive-thru order turned violent on Tuesday when a woman opened fire on a Memphis Burger King, according to Memphis Police.

The Memphis Police Department said it all started when a woman was angry at the time she was waiting for her food at a Burger King on Winchester Road.

According to MPD, the woman was in line for the drive-thru when she got out of the car, went to the window and started arguing with a Burger King employee.

The Burger King surveillance video showed the woman pulling a black gun from her car, leaning against the drive-thru window and opening fire.

Fortunately, none of the employees were hit and the workers ran out the back door, the police said.

In a statement obtained by FOX13, Burker King said that they do not tolerate violence of any kind and are cooperating fully with the police in this investigation.

“We do not tolerate or tolerate violence of any kind in our restaurants because the safety of our staff members and guests is our priority. Fortunately, no one at the restaurant was injured during the incident. The restaurant operator is fully cooperating with the authorities in its ongoing investigation. “
