Woman may have died 12 years before the body was found at home

An elderly Scotswoman was found dead at her home after she did not show up for her consultation with the COVID-19 vaccine – and now authorities believe her body could be there for up to 12 years, according to reports.

Christina Malley, who should now be in her 80s, was discovered last month at her home in Cover, where she lived with her husband, Daniel, the Daily Record reported.

The nurses went to the house to look for Malley after she didn’t show up for the vaccine appointment, the media reported.

When authorities knocked on the door, her husband said she had traveled abroad, the vehicle said.

But his body was later discovered inside the house, initiating a police investigation.

Police are still working to determine how she died, but said it is possible that she has been dead for 12 years, the agency said.

A police spokesman confirmed the discovery of a woman’s body in the house.

“The death is being treated as unexplainable and investigations are ongoing,” the spokesman told the media.

The neighbors were surprised to find that Daniel was married.

“I never saw him with a wife in all the time I lived here,” said a resident to Sun.

“It gives me a shiver when I think she could have been lying at home all this time. Why was there no smell or flies? It is so strange. “
