Woman investigating BSO found shot in front of Dania Beach apartments

DANIA BEACH, Florida. – A woman was found shot outside an apartment complex on Saturday night in Dania Beach, according to homicide detectives at Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Just before 10:30 pm, MPs responded to 321 E. Sheridan Street in reference to someone who heard gunfire. The police arrived to find an adult woman lying on the floor suffering from a gunshot wound.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to the Regional Memorial Hospital, where she later died.

The woman has been identified and notification of close relatives is pending, according to the BSO.
