A 60-year-old woman in Japan – with no known underlying condition – died days after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine, but the country’s health ministry said on Tuesday that there was no known link to the vaccine, according to one report.

Kyodo News reported that the woman probably suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage. She died on Monday after receiving the injection on Friday, the report said. The health ministry said it was investigating his death. A health official told the agency that there was no link between the Pfizer vaccine and the bleeding.
