Woman discovers secret New York apartment hidden behind bathroom mirror

ROOSEVELT ISLAND, Manhattan (WABC) – Almost every New York resident has a story about finding an apartment, but a woman from Roosevelt Island can probably beat them all.

Samantha Hartsoe discovered an empty unit adjacent to the one where she lived.

There was a hidden entrance behind the bathroom mirror.

A mysterious draft was what alerted her – she felt the cold air blowing over her, and the air was coming from the mirror.

Hartsoe did a four-part series on his TikTok on how to find the apartment.

It is not clear whether the building management knew the space.
