A drive-thru order took a turn on Tuesday when a woman reportedly opened fire on the window of a Burger King in Memphis, Tennessee, according to police.
“The Memphis Police Department said it all started when a woman was angry at how long she waited for her food at a Burger King on Winchester Road,” Fox 13 reported.
The woman was supposedly in line at the drive-thru when she got out of the car, approached the window and started arguing with an employee.
Memphis police detailed the events in a Facebook post on Friday, along with photos of the suspect who appeared to be wearing a blue jacket with a red hood:
Video surveillance shows the suspect retrieving a black gun from the vehicle, extending his upper body through the drive-thru window and firing multiple shots at Burger King workers. Workers fled the shooting through the back door of the company and left unscathed. The suspect was accompanied by a man who was the driver of the gray sedan.
According to the police, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

One resident told Fox 13 that he was not surprised when he heard of the shooting.
“More security, more police in the area [would] it will probably help, ”said Eddie House.
Another resident, Dewayne Wilson, was relieved that no one was injured during the incident.
“The kids weren’t there, you know, that’s the problem,” he commented, adding, “This is kind of confusing. I am happy that everyone is well. “
Citizens with information about the suspect’s identity were asked to call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH. Informants will receive a secret identification number and their identity will remain anonymous, says the department’s post.
