Withdrawal from the horror game devotion list is now digitally available for the first time in two years

Devotion, the Red Candle Games horror game that was removed from the list in February 2019, is now available digitally and in a DRM-free format. Red Candle Games announced the news in Twitter, confirming that Devotion, Detention and all of its future projects will be available in its own Red Candle e-shop in the hope of “providing a straightforward and straightforward purchase channel for players interested in our games.”
The devotion was pulled from Steam in 2019 after users found a Winnie the Pooh meme inside the game mocking Chinese President Xi Jinping. Red Candle issued an apology shortly thereafter, while saying that he was not planning to relaunch Devotion in the short term.

In 2020, Devotion was back in the news when Red Candle Games shared that Devotion would be making its comeback through CD Projekt’s GOG distribution platform on December 18, 2020.

However, GOG posted a message later that day saying, “after receiving many messages from players, we decided not to list the game in our store.”Now, after more than two years, those who wish to experience Devotion can finally do it again.
