Registered pharmacist Ken Ramey with CVS is preparing to give a COVID-19 vaccine, Thursday, January 21, 2021, to the independent and independent elderly community in the Vero Beach Islands in Vero Beach, Florida. A federal government study last fall found that an average of one death occurred among every five residents of institutions living with COVID-19 in the states that offered data. This compares to a death among 40 people with the virus in the general population.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) – Wisconsin residents will be able to apply online to receive their coronavirus vaccines later this month.

The state is working with Microsoft to set up an online application system. Wisconsin Public Radio reports that the system will be launched in 10 communities on February 15.

The state’s plan is to use these communities as a software test before the system is implemented across the state.

Deputy Health Secretary Julie Willems Van Dijk said users will answer questions about their age and profession to see if they are eligible. Otherwise, they will be placed on a waiting list to be notified when they become eligible.
