MADISON, Wisconsin – The Wisconsin Basketball game at Penn State on Sunday will not be played as scheduled.
The Badgers announced the decision via Twitter on Saturday night.
“Sunday’s game at Penn State is being postponed, as mutually agreed by both teams for health and safety reasons. Both schools will work with the Big Ten Conference to reschedule the game. The Badgers will resume training on Monday, ahead of Thursday’s home game against Indiana. “
The tweet did not say whether players or staff on any team had a positive test for COVID-19.
Sunday’s postponement is the first Big Ten game this season not to be played as scheduled at the conference.
