CDC GUIDANCE ON MEETINGS

The Centers for Disease Control have announced that fully vaccinated Americans can meet other vaccinated people indoors without wearing a mask or social detachment.

The CDC’s recommendations also say that vaccinated people can meet in the same way – in a single house – with people considered to be at low risk for serious illnesses, as in the case of vaccinated grandparents who visit healthy children and grandchildren.

The CDC continues to recommend that fully vaccinated people still wear tight-fitting masks, avoid large gatherings and physically distance themselves from other people when they are in public. The CDC also advised vaccinated people to get tested if they develop symptoms that may be related to COVID-19.

Symptoms

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have identified these as possible symptoms of COVID-19:

  • Fever of 100.4 or higher
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breathe
  • Chills
  • Repeated tremors with chills
  • Muscle pain
  • Headache
  • Sore throat
  • New loss of taste or smell
