According to the National Meteorological Service, many areas can have more than 30 centimeters of snow accumulation, with the highest possible total locations on benches.

Snowfall is expected to intensify at night and in the morning in the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys, where there is a winter storm alert. Snow is expected to decrease on Wednesday afternoon and evening. The “lake effect” is expected to make heavy snowfall in the Salt Lake Valley at up to 2.5 cm per hour.
