Windows 10 build 21343 is being released for Insiders on the Dev channel. The build includes several improvements and changes. What will catch most people’s attention is that Windows 10 File Explorer now has new icons, including a new trash can icon.

Microsoft describes some of the changes made with the File Explorer icons in a blog post:

Several changes, such as the orientation of folder icons and standard file type icons, have been made for greater consistency in Microsoft products that show files. Notably, top-level user folders, such as Desktop, Documents, Downloads, and Images, have a new design that should make it a little easier to differentiate between them at first glance. And yes, the Recycle Bin icon has also been updated!

The build also improves Windows Sandbox and Microsoft Defender Application Guard. This update brings a new runtime designed and optimized for container scenarios.

Here are the other changes and improvements in Windows 10 build 21343:

  • We are changing the name of the Windows Administrative Tools folder in Start to Windows Tools. We are working to better organize all Windows 10 system and administration tools.
  • [News and interests] Launch update: After our last update on languages and markets, this week we also introduced the experience to China! We continue to release news and interests for Windows Insiders, so it’s not yet available to everyone on the Dev Channel.
  • We are now launching the new IME candidate window design for all Windows Insiders on the Dev Channel using Simplified Chinese IMEs.
  • We are updating the “Get help” link on the touch keyboard to now say “Learn more”.
  • We’re updating File Explorer by renaming files to now support the use of CTRL + left / right arrow to move the cursor between words in the file name, as well as CTRL + Delete and CTRL + Backspace to delete words at once, as elsewhere in Windows.
  • We’ve made some updates to the network-related surfaces in Windows so that the symbols displayed use the updated system icons that we recently added on the Dev Channel.
  • Based on the feedback, if the Shared Experiences page identifies a problem with your account connection, it will send notifications directly to the Action Center, rather than repeated notifications for freebies that need to be dismissed.

You should be able to get the update now if you are a Windows Insider on the Dev channel.
