The NFL has launched the final playoff scenarios for the 2020 regular season and they are quite straightforward at both conferences.
The Browns, Dolphins and Ravens will be the three AFC Wild Card teams if they win their games at 1:00 pm ET in Week 17. The Ravens will also be in conflict with a loss to the Browns or Colts and the Dolphins will advance with defeats to the Browns, Ravens or Colts.
If Cleveland loses to Pittsburgh, they still advance with a defeat by the Colts or the Titans combined with the victories of the Dolphins and Ravens.
The Colts need a victory and a defeat for any of these three teams to win the Wild Card. They would end up as AFC South champions with a victory and a defeat for the Titans. The Titans won the division with a victory and would still make the playoffs with defeats to the Ravens or Dolphins.
At NFC, there are three playoff spots available. Washington will win the NFC East if it wins the Eagles. If they lose, the winner of the Cowboys-Giants game will host a playoff game.
Chicago will go into the playoffs with a victory or defeat for the Cardinals. If the Bears win, the loser of the Rams-Cardinals game will lose the playoffs. If the Bears lose, the Cardinals and Rams will advance while the Cardinals beat the Rams.
The head of the conference also remains at stake. The Packers will succeed by defeating the Bears or if the Seahawks lose to the 49ers. The Saints will win if he and Seattle win, while Green Bay loses and the Seahawks take first place with a victory and losses for the other two champions in the division.
