In its third year of operation, Wild Leap is proud to announce the expansion of its distribution to selected markets in South Carolina. Wild Leap started distributing craft beer in the southwest Georgia market in 2017 and increased its distribution to cover three States. Wild Leap’s craft beers and spirits will be available in Charleston, South Carolina and surrounding areas through Southern Eagle Distributing starting today.
“Efforts to expand distribution have been more laborious with the precautions and setbacks of COVID-19, but it is definitely a labor of love!” says Anthony Rodriguez, CEO and co-founder of Wild Leap. “The culture of craft beer and spirits in Charleston is thriving and we are excited to share our products with our Caroline do Sul fans.”
Wild Leap started out as a small-town brewery with local distribution, but cofounders Rob Goldstein and Anthony Rodriguez dreamed of growing up. In just three years, the fast-growing, independent brewery has extended its product line to include artisanal spirits and is now available throughout the state of Georgia and in select markets in Alabama and South Carolina.
“When looking at potential new markets for expansion, South Carolina was the priority. In addition to the logistical appeals, we saw very high market growth potential, ”said Goldstein, co-founder and CMO at Wild Leap. “We have a pre-existing fan base in South Carolina and we received a large flow of inquiries from fans and retailers to extend distribution to the area. The fans made an “easy” choice. “
The expansion of distribution in South Carolina comes in the wake of the industry’s highly regarded recognitions and awards. After having three beers named as winners of the 2020 US Open Beer Championship medal, Wild Leap nominated 10 beers for The Beer Connoisseur’s “100 best beers of 2020” and 5 beers for the “Top 10 Double IPAs” in the category division of style. The demand for Wild Leap craft drinks is gaining momentum.
