Britney Spears’ ex-husband Kevin Federline, current boyfriend Sam Asghari and dozens of celebrities are speaking out in defense of the pop star after the release of the documentary “Framing Britney Spears”, which has brought renewed attention to the declining stardom of the singer and battle of guardianship.
The New York Times program also prompted the star’s fans to speak out against Justin Timberlake and Diane Sawyer for the way they have treated the pop star in the past, while contributing to those calling for Spears to be released from her guardianship.
Guardianship – legal guardianship giving her father, Jamie Spears, control over her finances and everyday life – triggered the “#FreeBritney” movement with fans asking for her to be released from the legal settlement.
The 39-year-old singer spoke on Tuesday, sharing a video of her singing the megahit “Toxic” in front of an animated audience.

“I can’t believe that Toxic’s performance is 3 years ago !!!” she wrote along with the clip. “I will always love being on stage … but I am taking the time to learn and be a normal person … I just love to enjoy the basics of daily life !!!!”
“Each person has his story and his opinion on other people’s stories !!!!” continued the “Crossroads” star in a subsequent tweet. “We all have so many different and brilliant lives !!!”
She concluded: “Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person’s life, it’s nothing compared.”
Live performances have been scarce for the star in recent years, as her lawyer has claimed that she will not perform as long as her father, Jamie, has control over her life through guardianship.

“I think Kevin feels that there seems to be a lot of commotion going on right now, and he trusts that the probate court will make the orders that they deem appropriate to protect Britney and her estate,” Federline’s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said Page Six.
Spears is due to attend a guardianship hearing on Thursday. This happened months after she asked to have her father removed as her healer.

Among those who criticize Jamie is Spears’ boyfriend Sam Asghari, who recently spoke out against his girlfriend’s father on Instagram.
“It is now important for people to understand that I have no respect for someone who tries to control our relationship and constantly throws obstacles in our way,” wrote the personal trainer in his Instagram story. “In my opinion, Jamie is a total idiot. I will not go into details because I have always respected our privacy, but at the same time I did not come to this country so I could not express my opinion and freedom.”

In the document, Spears’ long-standing relationship with fellow pop star Justin Timberlake is examined, again drawing attention to the controversial breakup, which, according to Page Six, sparked rumors that Spears was unfaithful.
The vehicle reports that Timberlake’s video “Cry Me a River”, featuring an adulterous blonde character, fueled such speculation, as well as a 2003 interview between the “Toxic” singer and Diane Sawyer, who questioned the actress about what she did that caused “so much suffering” for Timberlake.
Fans of Spears, 39, have since accessed Twitter to share their thoughts on the subject, calling 40-year-old Timberlake for his behavior at the time.
“Watching Framing Britney Spears is a very easy way to be angry about misogyny, Justin Timberlake, and how we sweep all the girls and young people under the spotlight over the embers,” wrote a viewer.
“Everyone owes apologies to Britney, but especially Justin Timberlake and Diane Sawyer,” said another.
Even actress Valerie Bertinelli the name “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” singer by listing a series of “many horrible men / leeches in [Spears’] life.”

Sawyer’s 2003 interview with Spears for “ABC Primetime Thursday” was heralded as a “barrier-free” look at the singer’s personal life amid her public separation from Timberlake.

“He went on television and practically said you broke his heart,” Sawyer told the 22-year-old singer at the time. “You did something that caused you so much pain, so much suffering … What did you do?”
The clip caused a reaction to Sawyer, with fans tweeting over the weekend that Sawyer contributed to the bitch shaming Spears, and a person questioning how the TV journalist sleeps at night.

On Tuesday, the co-hosts of “The View” also discussed the documentary, with Meghan McCain accessing his Instagram to share his thoughts.
“I think Justin Timberlake has a few things to answer for, not just about Britney Spears, but about his role in sexualizing and demonizing Janet Jackson after the Super Bowl,” said McCain.
“Why do we treat women like crazy, why do women have no other option, but we are insane maniacs. We as a society don’t treat Britney Spears properly. We get her dirty. I think this is a moment in time to give to her the support she needs. And if she is in some sort of thing that seems to be being held against her own will by her father – again, this is speculation from what I saw in the documentary – we as a society have the right to do the right thing with Britney Spears now, “added the co-host of” View “.
