Over the years, the Boston Celtics have been a team that is always at the top of the Eastern Conference and a legitimate contender for the title, but does not seem to have realized what the problem is in terms of reaching the NBA Finals. They haven’t had a chance to fight for a title since 2010 and several superstar players that were brought in did not solve the puzzle. Instead, they remained committed to building around Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown.

Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward, Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford are all renowned players who have been part of the Celtics organization over the years and share the same fate with Boston – without a championship.

The two biggest problems that Boston has had in terms of squads over the years is that they lacked a reliable bank and their attacking court was a disaster. They haven’t had a great reliable man since Kevin Garnett, and although they have some great young talents like Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, having two players of the All-Star caliber is no longer enough to win a championship.

Over the years, when you look at the teams that have won championships, everyone has had big banks and important players that they can trust to get the big shots out of their superstars. This Celtics team literally has no reliable players other than Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker, which is why the Celtics will not be able to reach the NBA Finals again this year unless they make a big move in the NBA trading deadline.

They have been linked to Myles Turner in rumors about NBA negotiations for years and if the Celtics really want to give themselves the best chance of winning a title this year, they need to do everything they can to acquire Turner before the NBA negotiation deadline. .

With that said, let’s take a look at three reasons why the Boston Celtics should go out of their way in an attempt to acquire Myles Turner.
