Why reports say Seattle Seahawks should launch DT Jarran Reed

All Seattle Seahawks out-of-season fans anticipated that the team would make some kind of move to free up space for the bonus, whether it be the restructuring of Russell Wilson’s contract or through one of the other veterans of the cast. On Thursday night, exactly how the Seahawks will create the space for the cover, was released when one of the team’s top members made an announcement on social media.

The “tomorrow at 1” part seems to indicate that Jarran Reed is scheduled to be released, and NFL informant Ian Rapoport confirmed this on Twitter as well.

So the Seahawks apparently wanted to add years of annulment so they could convert a portion of Reed’s base salary in 2021 into a signature bonus, but Reed wanted more longer-term security. So the bottom line is that tomorrow, at 1 pm Pacific time, Reed is likely to become a free agent when the NFL publishes its official transaction report.

This will free up the $ 8.975 million limit for Seattle, but the remaining $ 5 million dead money for the Hawks will leave Reed with the highest maximum shot of all Seahawks defensive line attackers, even though he is not even on the list.
