Anastasia Amoroso, head of thematic strategy at JP Morgan Private Bank, joins the latest podcast “What Goes Up” to discuss emerging investment issues, including the implementation of leverage in investments in the credit market. She also discusses perspectives for green energy and other important topics that her team is advising.

Some highlights of the conversation:

“The reason we are having this discussion today is because it was really a phenomenal year for fixed income and income has plummeted, which is not so phenomenal. But it generated phenomenal returns for investors. But with yields now really at very, very low levels across all curves and across the credit spectrum, investors are looking for income opportunities. And one of the ways to increase the yield is, of course, to implement a little leverage … The reason we think this is an opportune environment to do this is because, from an economic point of view, I think we will be in one place more stable in 2021. Therefore, we should not worry about credit events. “

Mentioned in this podcast:
2020 was a great year for stocks and a bear market for humans
