Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley separated more than two decades ago, but the actor is finally confessing why he cheated.
The 60-year-old said he was in “a bad mood” because of his 1995 film “Nine Months”, when he was flagrantly caught with prostitute Divine Brown.
“I was about to release my first Hollywood film – my timing was impeccable. My problem was – that was my first Hollywood movie and I had just seen it, ”said Grant in the Thursday episode of Marc Maron’s podcast“ WTF ”.
He continued: “The film was due to be released a week or two later, and I had a bad feeling. I went to see an exhibition. Everyone in it was brilliant, but I was so atrocious that I wasn’t in a good mood. “
Grant decided to have a “Ken Russell lunch” and soon found himself arrested for allegedly paying Brown $ 60 to have oral sex with him in a car in Los Angeles.
Ultimately, he was ordered to pay a $ 1,000 fine and participate in an AIDS education program as a punishment.
