Halsey shocked the world on Wednesday when she announced she was pregnant.
The 26-year-old artist revealed on social media that she is pregnant. She did this with a series of photos showing her belly.
She tagged screenwriter Alev Aydin in the photos. Aydin posted the photos of the “Without Me” singer in his Instagram story shortly after his ad with two red-heart emojis.

He’s a movie buff
Aydin works in cinema, so, without a doubt, he is a movie buff.
A quick look at Aydin’s Instagram shows that the account is full of references to classic films like Martin Scorsese’s “Goodfellas” and Richard Wesley’s “Uptown Saturday Night”.
Aydin also shows love to director Spike Lee, who he calls “a god who mixes genres and living legends” on his account.
He is a screenwriter and producer
Aydin, along with Justin Schack, co-created Netflix’s eight-episode series, “Small Shots”, which debuted in 2017.
Aydin also co-wrote “Turbo and Joey”, a 2013 web series about two friends from Staten Island, NY, who were trying to win in Hollywood.

He is of Turkish descent
Aydin is proud of his heritage.
On Instagram, Aydin shared several photos from his “homeland”, Istanbul, Turkey, while expressing a genuine appreciation for his roots.
He also spent time in Saudi Arabia as a child.
He has a matching tattoo with Halsey
During the summer, tattooist Amanda Owley revealed that she had the opportunity to tattoo Halsey and Aydin.

The couple tattooed the word “Seeds” on their feet, with each other’s handwriting.
“[Halsey] said this is cosmically [sic] the best week to plant seeds in your life, “Owley noted in the caption.
He keeps his relationship private
Amid a sea of artistic photographs on Aydin’s Instagram, it will be difficult to find a photo of the couple together.

As on Aydin’s Instagram, Halsey’s account also shows a lack of photos of the two. The singer marked Aydin in her pregnancy announcement, however.
Meanwhile, a source also told People magazine that the couple “have been dating for several months”.
“Halsey has been discreet about their relationship,” added the source. “They were spending a lot of time at her house in the fall, and it was obvious that she was happy.”
