For the first time since “The Bachelor” started airing in 2002, Chris Harrison will not be attending the “After the Final Rose” special due to the controversial “Extra” interview with Rachel Lindsay, in which he defended current competitor Rachael Kirkconnell, and warned against “the police awake”.
Harrison has apologized twice so far – in his second Instagram post about the interview, he announced that he was “withdrawing” from the franchise indefinitely.
Although Harrison’s statement does not indicate that he is leaving the franchise permanently, there is no word on when he will be back. While Harrison and ABC decide what their future will be with “The Bachelor”, we chose 10 people from Bachelor Nation that we think would do a good job hosting it instead.
